COVID Funding
Background
The government has acknowledged that children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). To compensate for this the government has awarded schools a one-off Catch-Up Premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time.
As a school we have carefully established the wide range of needs of our pupils and additional support required by our families.
Our Catch-Up Premium Plan reflects this, with spending allocated to best meet the needs of all pupils on their return to school and across the academic year 2020-2021.
